A message from Alex Corcoran

My name is Alex Corcoran. I studied Electrical Engineering at the Galway Technical College almost 35 years ago. We are Safe Electric registered and insured electrical contractors and we specialise in the supply, installation and testing and certification of EV charging systems throughout Ireland (registration number A11431). We are also Qualified Certifiers to test and certify electrical systems and electrical installations in Ireland (QC number 14288/08266). Our insurance number is HUP1619123542 (HISCOX Insurance).

Electric vehicles are still fairly new technology, and there are some critical requirements to ensure the safe operation of both the charger and the car.In the last few years, there have been multiple house fires due to the incorrect installation of EV chargers. Since then, Safe Electric has got very strict to make sure that all new EV chargers are installed to a very high Safety standard.
